Numerous fighters showed their respect and admiration for ex-President Donald Trump, expressing their support and admiration during UFC 302 in New Jersey on Saturday, shortly after a New York jury charged him with 34 counts of falsifying business records.

The former President received a warm welcome from the crowd at the event, as seen in a video shared on Twitter by Kanekoa The Great, before the matches commenced.

During the event, numerous fighters expressed their solidarity with him following their triumphs. Initially, Kevin Holland, right after successfully securing a submission victory against his middleweight adversary Michal Oleksieczuk, enthusiastically jumped out of the cage to greet Trump, creating a heartwarming moment between the two.

In addition, outspoken middleweight Sean Strickland criticized Trump’s guilty verdict as an “injustice” during his post-fight address following a significant split decision victory over Paulo Costa.

“President Trump, you’re the man… It is a d*mn travesty what they are doing to you. I’ll be donating to you, my man,” Strickland said as Trump mouthed “thank you” from the crowd.

In addition, there was a verbal exchange between Trump and retired UFC icon Khabib Nurmagomedov, widely regarded as the most accomplished fighter in the history of the sport. Khabib seemed to appeal to Trump to bring an end to the conflict in Gaza, a plea that the former President seemed to agree to, stating “we’re going to put an end to it” in a video that numerous Twitter users shared.
