WATCH: Biden’s Gaffe-Ridden Speech Stuns The World

President Joe Biden’s press conference with Kenyan President William Ruto on Thursday seemed to reveal some difficulty in delivering coherent thoughts, which has raised concerns about his suitability for the office. This press conference was just the latest in a series of public events where Biden struggled to speak without making mistakes. In fact, his aides had to correct nine gaffes in a transcript of a speech he gave on Sunday.

Throughout the press conference, Biden relied on reading lengthy quotes from hidden notes behind the lectern to answer questions. He even mistakenly referred to Vice President Kamala Harris as the president, saying, “Our nation’s first black vice president, President Kamala Harris.”

Furthermore, Biden inaccurately informed the Kenyan president that the African continent would soon have a billion people, while the African Development Bank Group estimates the population to be at least 1.2 billion. To add to the awkwardness, after the press conference concluded, Biden suddenly exclaimed, “Whoa!” and raised his hands in a random gesture.

“This concludes the press conference. Thanks, everybody. Thanks you, everybody. This concludes the press conference. Thank you. Thanks, everybody,” White House press secretary Karine Jean-Pierre blurted out right after Biden’s “Whoa.”
