RED ALERT: New RINO Speaker Plotting REVENGE Against Conservatives

Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) expressed his support for taking action against fellow Republicans who oppose him during a gathering with high-dollar donors at the luxurious Four Seasons in Washington. Johnson indicated to the influential audience at a fundraising event that he would back the removal of members who obstruct his coalition government’s legislative priorities from committees. Additionally, he mentioned his approval for potential changes to House rules, including those related to the motion to vacate, by the conclusion of this Congress.

These statements were made as Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) prepares to initiate a vote this week on her motion to vacate the chair, a procedural move that led to the removal of Rep. Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) from the speakership in October of last year.

Greene’s decision to push for the vote follows what Rep. Thomas Massie (R-KY) referred to as Johnson’s “three betrayals.” Specifically, Johnson halted progress on passing the 12 individual appropriations bills, approved a two-part omnibus bill that garnered significant Democratic support, pushed through a reauthorization of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) after voting to eliminate a warrant requirement for surveillance on Americans, and executed a plan to release billions in Ukraine aid despite pledging not to do so without addressing the border crisis.

House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) even asserted that he, rather than Johnson, is the one truly controlling the House agenda.

“Even though we’re in the minority, we’ve effectively been governing as if we were in the majority because we continue to provide a majority of the votes necessary to get things done,” he told CBS. “Those are just the facts.”

Greene’s reply to the Punchbowl News article on Monday indicated that the issue within the House Republican Conference is attributed to Johnson personally:
