Breaking: State Troopers Surround Far-Left Rioters

According to a campus newspaper, the University of Texas at Austin was surrounded by Texas state troopers and the Austin Police Department (APD) during an anti-Israel protest. The protest, organized by the Palestine Solidarity Committee, called “Popular University for Gaza,” took place on Wednesday afternoon in response to ongoing protests at other prominent campuses.

As tensions escalated, at least 10 protesters were arrested following a clash between anti-Israel participants and members of the APD and Texas Department of Public Safety (DPS), as reported by ABC News. The protesters, many of whom wore masks, marched on campus demanding that the university “disclose” and “divest” from Israel, as captured in footage shared by The Texas Horn, the university’s student-run conservative publication. Law enforcement and state troopers intervened to prevent the occupation of the campus, a recurring trend observed during anti-Israel campus protests.

“Disclose, divest, we will not stop, we will not rest,” the protesters repeatedly chanted.
