Breaking: Biden Makes DESPERATE Move To Save His Campaign

The Biden campaign has announced plans to organize a fundraising event in Los Angeles, which will feature former President Obama and prominent figures from the entertainment industry. This event aims to bolster President Joe Biden’s fundraising efforts, as his poll numbers have been declining. The star-studded lineup will include renowned celebrities such as George Clooney and Julia Roberts. This fundraising initiative is crucial for President Biden, especially considering the surge in support for his likely rival, former President Donald Trump.

Trump recently held a massive rally in New Jersey, which reportedly attracted 80,000–100,000 supporters. While President Biden has raised more funds than Trump thus far, the latter’s campaign has been rapidly closing the fundraising gap in recent weeks. Trump’s donations received a significant boost after securing enough delegates to secure the Republican nomination. Additionally, the Republican National Committee (RNC) has maintained its fundraising success following the resignation of Ronna McDaniel.

The upcoming event in Los Angeles, scheduled for mid-June, will feature a contest involving Clooney and Roberts, which will be conducted across various social media platforms. The campaign aims to energize grassroots donors, celebrities, and other campaign surrogates. Both Clooney and Roberts will contribute to the fundraising efforts by lending their names to campaign text messages and emails.

The campaign hopes to replicate the success of its previous upscale fundraiser in New York City, which featured former Presidents Barack Obama and Bill Clinton and raised a record-breaking $26 million. Despite attracting donations from high-profile celebrities and wealthy donors, the campaign is still facing challenges in attracting small-dollar contributions. Federal Election Commission (FEC) records indicate that 35 percent of the donations to Biden’s 2024 re-election campaign have come from big donors, while only 38 percent have come from small donors contributing between $1 and $200.

In relation to the Trump campaign, 61% of its funding has been provided by small donors, while only 9% has been contributed by big donors. In contrast, between 2020 and 2024, Biden’s donations from big donors have increased by 10 percentage points, while the proportion of similar contributions to the former president has decreased by the same margin.

Following Biden’s $26 million collection, the Trump campaign managed to raise approximately double that amount in a single-night event in Florida. With the support of several GOP billionaire donors, some of whom had previously supported other Republican presidential candidates, Trump was able to raise $50.5 million in West Palm Beach. According to a press release from the Republican National Committee, Trump’s fundraising event set new records for fundraising, surpassing all previous records for both Republicans and Democrats.

“Tonight will be an incredible night for President Trump and the Republican Party, raising an astounding $50.5 million,” Trump campaign senior advisors Chris LaCivita and Susie Wiles said in a statement.

“Meanwhile, after locking up the nomination in one of the fastest primaries in modern political history, Donald J. Trump is winning poll after poll and proving that the enthusiasm is on his side. It’s clearer than ever that we have the message, the operation, and the money to propel President Trump to victory on November 5,” the advisors added.
